Robin

RHS Harlow Carr - Of course, no English garden is complete without a robin. (Looking slightly the worse for wear - perhaps now the breeding season is over, he no longer has to look so dapper for his mate.)

  2. Robins remind me of my grandfather. One began following me around his garden shortly after he died. When I was mowing, the little chap stayed with me until I'd finished. He never missed a chance, right up until the property was sold, a couple of years later.

  3. I love Robins for an obvious reason.
He's probably bedraggled because breeding season is over! He's got the autumn to recover until he has to be ship shape and all Bristol for the Christmas card season. ;)
