Think they still had a similar till even in the late 70s. One such in San Francisco was the City of Paris department store. Having once been a favorite of the local moneyed class, it faded and failed. The building sat vacant for many years. Then Neiman-Marcus built on the City of Paris site. Neiman-Marcus preserved the rotunda of the old City of Paris.Louis la Vachehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09039777863022193315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5692250389062665906.post-3544842399907367122010-12-05T12:56:34.453+00:002010-12-05T12:56:34.453+00:00That must be great to step back in time, a nice pr...That must be great to step back in time, a nice project of the BBC.biebkriebelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01539958495933835606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5692250389062665906.post-46232983823169577022010-12-05T10:47:19.947+00:002010-12-05T10:47:19.947+00:00There was a similar department store in Derby when...There was a similar department store in Derby when I was a child.
