In search of colour - 10

Rainbow colours in Salts Mill's 1853 Gallery.

That's the end of the colour series for now... but it taught me the value of going out with my camera and holding some kind of 'theme' in mind.  Must try a few more ideas...

  5. I've enjoyed your series, Jenny; it was a great idea. Now, what in the world is that table with a lever/knife/something sticking out of it? Jim

  8. Yes indeed a real stunner to finish your series on . . . I think it is the blue hue on the Yorkshire stone flags that you have managed to contrive and capture that really does it for me. Well done again.
(P.S. I am away to Salts Mill at the earliest oppertunity to try and "capture" the same image for myself . . . . impress my friends . . . this kind of thing. The betting is I will not do half as well as you have done! ! !)

  9. Jim, it's meant to be an artist's palette with a paintbrush. (It's an art gallery, after all!)

  11. I enjoyed your series of finding colour. And I would like a bookshelf with one of each colour on it.

  12. Oh this is beautiful! I am just catching up on here and could use a little dose of color with all the white that is falling outside right now. ~Lili

  14. Just stumbled upon your website and was happy to catch your 'In search of coulour'. What a nice theme and a good idea indeed when all you see outside seem to have the colour grey at the moment. Thanks for sharing. And I really like this rainbow of notebooks!
