This series could just as easily have been called 'Saltaire Rouge', taking a theme from Virginia's wonderful blog
'Paris through my lens'. This dear lady in red chose just the right moment to walk along Albert Terrace. Thank you, whoever you are! (The other couple could be William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, having an incognito break in Saltaire?)
Love the cobbles, or do you call them setts? Reminds me of the road outside my grandmother's house in Sheffield - but that was many decades ago.
ReplyDeleteThe double yellows add a certain 'something' too.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the couple being William and Kate, but the "lady in red" is clearly Ann Widdecombe . . . . . . nice image though.
ReplyDeleteRed certainly brightens up a wet day, Where are the body guards?
ReplyDeleteWow! What an interesting and complex shot. I think one could teach a whole photography class session on just this one photo. It has so many supporting elements. Jim
ReplyDeletelol. Definitely William and Kate! :-) Lovely photo, as usual. How nice of that woman to wear her red coat.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...I love the brick road. Our main street in our village was originally brick. After each winter, the pot holes expose some of it. Then they patch them up again..but I like seeing the brick!
ReplyDeleteCould be Wills and Kate - we never see them in Cambridge.
ReplyDeleteNice shot - glad she came by in that great coat!
ReplyDeleteWe all know you placed them. Will and Kate. The lady in Red. How much did it cost?
ReplyDeleteI love the very tall lamp post centered on the very tall chimney.
I also note from the yellow lines that you are allowed to park on the corner, thus blocking the road.
First brick road I've seen.....
In search of red, yes. :-)
ReplyDelete[The tricycle in my post is motorized.]
Oh how fun...it really does resemble William and Kate from afar! ~Lili
