Another Sunday stroll

Another Sunday stroll along the canal bank. The stretch from Saltaire to Hirst Lock is always popular with dog walkers, cyclists and families with baby buggies, because it is flat and smooth. The approach to the lock was made more attractive by this painted narrowboat moored there.

  1. What a lovely colourful narrowboat! It would make a very relaxing holiday (apart from man-handling the lock gates!), but when visiting from the other side of the world there is so much to see in a relatively short space of time that the slow pace of this mode of transport tends to get relegated to the bottom of the "wish list"!
