Wartime spirit?


Another decorated window, from another near neighbour. This one references Vera Lynn's famous wartime song, meant to keep up the spirits of the nation at a difficult time. We do need a bit of that now, I guess. (Now you're singing it, aren't you?)

    I remember Les Dawson greeting Shirley Bassey: "Hello, Vera!" Fortunately Shirley has a great sense of humour.

    Yes, we do need a bit of this now. I'm not in the UK but in the US and everywhere around the world could use a bit of this. Thanks.
