Ironwork arches and wooden panelling at the entrance to Keighley railway station (painted, I think, in the livery colours of the Midland Railway - dark red and cream.)
I honestly thought you had photographed the inside of a church. It certainly has religious overtones. That is the magic of your photography! Thanks for sharing!
I have never seen this part of the KWVR photographed this way before and in such lovely warm light. I love this picture!
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot, nice composition ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad some of the old wrought ironwork survived the WWII round up!
ReplyDeleteI remember these colours and ironwork, they're lovely.
ReplyDeleteVery nice combination of materials and inviting perspective. Hope you enjoyed Portillo's railway series.
ReplyDeleteI like the shot, and it's one that would also be great in b&w with a grainy 400ASA film.
ReplyDeleteLovely moody photograph, overflowing with atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteThose arches are so lovely! ~Lili

ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour picture prove that even a train station can be beautyful and full of charm! Not so obvious when we see the modern stations...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
