The window at 7 William Henry Street is a very artistic offering, one of my favourites, featuring a lighthouse beaming out light and love, above a sea teeming with life. Hope in the Dark... I'm sure most of us need some of that in these troubled times.

ReplyDeleteThe yearned for lighthouse beam always meant a safe orientation and the first sign of home for storm-tossed sailors after month-long voyages. They could smell the land and got what was known as "Channel Fever". This heady, excited anticipation is like nothing else! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Jenny!
