Saltaire in pink and green

Some early pink blossom looks pretty against a backdrop of ivy and a pinkish door.   Spotted on Albert Road in Saltaire.

  1. That's beautiful and I'm a little envious of your signs of spring... ;)

  2. Well spotted. I don't know why (especially after the winter we have had) but the blossom does seem to be out early this year.

  3. I love this type of photo! Another one for my 'Jenny Freckles' Photos' file. Don't worry, I don't do anything with them except look at them now and then and wish I were there. :-)

  8. With this photo you've whetted my appetite! I'd like to see the whole house. It's a gorgeous entrance and to my mind, very "English."

  9. What a beautiful, almost hidden doorway.

BTW, thanks for the prompting to make the photos on my blog larger. I had been thinking about doing that and just kept putting it off.

  10. Jenny, this is a great photo! It should be on a calendar page for everyone to see. Pride in ownership shows clearly...love it!

  11. A beautifully framed door, though I do wonder if all of that ivy is good for the stonework???

  12. I just love walls covered with vine and the red door makes it even more beautiful.
