Stopped in my tracks...

(Photo taken with my compact)

Out of the front door (remember to lock it!), turn right up the street, cross the road, left at the junction and straight on for a good long way.... that's my daily walk to work each morning.....but... uh?....what's this?... this wasn't here yesterday morning....very colourful... but what is it?

  1. Thought about it for several minutes. Still can't figure out what exactly are those planks used for. Maybe some form of construction skeleton?

  3. They are amazing! Are they painter's scaffold planks? What a brilliant juxtaposition of bright, bold, happy colour.

Just found your blog and glad that I did - terrific images abound.

Hi from the other side of the world, in Australia.

  4. If you're near the canal they might be what's known as stop planks.... but I wouldn't have thought they'd have arrived overnight (unless they have some repairs to do)

Very pretty. You're making good use of your new camera!
