I loved the textures of the stone pillars and carved wood of the main door into Southwell Minster. The pattern on the wood was almost like quilting. I think if I was a knitter (which I'm not) this might inspire me into creating a chunky scarf or jumper! It reminds me of an
Aran pattern.
Waoooohhhh GREAT photo again, Jenny!
ReplyDeleteYou made it black and white and this combination of different textures came out so dramatically.
I feel almost like standing there and touching these...
Thank you Jenny, this is a pure pleasure... at 8h33 in Autria! :)
I love the way you are drawn to patterns and I must admit to a similar attraction myself. Perhaps the Thornton series might be less surprising than we had thought.
ReplyDeleteVery beautyful shot! very simple, and yet so rich! I like the textures and the patterns here!
ReplyDelete(I'm no a knitter, but I agree with you about a scarf!)
I love this! Superb shot!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I love stuff like this! Beautiful photo.
