My recent trips to London were mostly about trying to be a helpful mother and granny, but I did manage a day out in the city centre. I ambled peacefully along the South Bank, with its wonderful riverside views of some of the great sights of London. The London Eye (2000), Big Ben (1859) and the Royal Festival Hall (1951) are all icons of their time. I felt this image needed the Ansel Adams black and white treatment.
Hi Jenny - I'm just so happy that you've been able to get to London to help and be around your daughter and her family ... and now things are slowly returning to a degree of normality healthwise for them.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot - it almost looks out of a SciFi film shot ... murderous one perhaps ... incredible perceptive depth ... fascinating - cheers Hilary
Wonderful shot, Jenny!
ReplyDeleteTerrific image, jennyfreckles. You filled it with icons, and the B+W treatment works great.
