Pylon power
Mostly I try to avoid photographing the poles and wires that adorn our landscapes, preferring to paint a more idyllic scene. Sometimes you can't avoid them - and just occasionally they seem worthy of a starring role for themselves.
They are essential to the kind of life we live today, and they have their own beauty. I might try to move my angle to avoid them in some shots, but if they appear in a photo, I never photoshop them out.
If they were to become unnecessary and disappear I'm sure there'd soon be a campaign to have them re-instated.
