St Mary's Church
St Mary's Church, Conistone - a pretty little church, grade II listed, dating back to the 11th or 12th century but rebuilt in 1846. It is actively used for worship and seems very well looked after.
Was only there the other week - Had a lovely cuppa and piece of cake in the cafe. The church yard was also used in one of the 'Sharp' TV Series back in the 1990's. A lovely church to visit and to photograph ;)
A fine old church.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love that window, Jenny!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I forget how lucky we are to live somewhere which is surrounded by such gems. Perfectly captured - as always.
