Old sea dog?
A walk along the canal towpath usually provides some colourful and interesting sights to photograph. I have to confess that I'm not an especially 'doggy' person... We've never had a dog and so I'm not really tuned in to them. But even I thought this one was rather attractive, and I liked the jaunty bandana. The dog didn't seem to mind my camera lens directed at him (her?) - alert but curious, and didn't set off into a frenzy of barking like the one further down my street does when anyone walks past.

Nice shot of Cap'n Canine.
ReplyDeleteA different kind of photograph for you today. Nice.
ReplyDeleteBandana and bowl, colour coordinated - must be a 'her'.
ReplyDeleteAs a young teen, my dog Rip followed me everywhere on the clifftops, on the beach, over the large rocks and in the caves. He was such a great dog.
ReplyDeleteIt adds colour and interest to the photo. It is a nice looking dog. I like dogs but not the little yappy ones that most of my neighbours have.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely my kind of photo. Love it! (I'll have to confess that I'm a *very* doggy person. :-) What beautiful color! All that blue with the accent of the red bandana. So nice.
ReplyDeleteI think you were being invited on board, in hopes he could get a belly-rub.
ReplyDeleteThe dog makes the photo, whether you're a doggy person or not. I cared deeply for the one dog we had for about eight years, but I'd not say I'm a doggy kind of human either. :-)
ReplyDeleteMust be a cowboy dog with that bandana! Must be a dog too, and not a bitch. Good catch of colours!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big dog person so I love this great shot!
