Dappled sunshine
RHS Harlow Carr - Some of the large garden is mature woodland, marvellous in spring when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in bloom and inspiring in its autumn colours, but still lovely in high summer, when sunshine dapples through the leaf canopy.
SO beautiful -- at first it looked like pictures I have taken on our farm and then I saw the columns. . . we don't have columns . . . but I'd like some...
I know from experience - the experience of frequent failure - that it's not as easy as it looks to pull off shots like that. But you've nailed it!
ReplyDeletea peaceful and beautiful place , very inspiring and inviting .
ReplyDeleteAre the columns just a feature, or the remains of something ancient?
ReplyDeleteJust a feature, I think. I doubt there ever was a Greek temple here!
DeleteI love to watch sunlight play through the trees!
ReplyDeleteYour header is lovely, too!
Beautiful. We have that kind of light here now too :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a simple and yet lovely scene.
