A slightly misty early morning shot... I just love the quality of light that is created when weak sunshine is diffused by mist. The little tree appears to be full of pink blossom (and seemed thus somehow appropriate for a New Year post) but in fact it was the pale pink berries of some kind of rowan, I think. The gleaming new fencing all around is a legacy of the floods last Christmas that wrecked this area close to the river.
Wishing everyone a very happy and healthy 2017.
(Let's hope there is some better news than 2016 seems to have brought across the world.)
Wish you and your family a happy New Year 2017. Let this year be a happy one:)I too love to see this. It will be an enjoyable one...
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! The drizzle outside my window is quite definitely of a much higher quality than last year's drizzle!
ReplyDeleteLovely light in that photo! Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a very pretty sight Jenny, a lovely way to head into whatever awaits us in 2017 ☺
ReplyDeleteWish Happy New Year to you and your family. This photo reminds me of spring.
ReplyDeleteAh, if only... The time between New Year and blossoming trees always seems very long (around here, anyway).
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! With all good wishes for 2017!
ReplyDeleteTo look at this beautiful picture it is hard to imagine the horrors that are going on in other countries. Lets hope it ends in 2017. I hope you have a good year enjoying retirement and taking more beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteI guess those berries would make a handy meal for birds over the course of the winter.
