The Cow and Calf
You might wonder why all these cars are parked here on the edge of Ilkley Moor. That's a pretty good pub and restaurant further up the road - but that's not what's attracting all these visitors. It's the Cow and Calf that they've all come to see. Ah well, enjoy the view from the bench and we'll walk a bit further tomorrow....

ReplyDeleteSeems like a lot of interest for a cow and calf. That doesn't make sense to me, but it is a pretty place and I love the big house in the background and the clouds.
ReplyDeleteOh, and honey butter is exactly what it sounds like - add a little honey, experiment with how much you like, to some butter and whip it together. Then you put it on hot rolls and you think you've died and gone to heaven.
