A selection of plants that I found growing in the Bingley Beckfoot allotments: salad leaves (and/or maybe beetroot?), a few plump raspberries and some rather pretty bright flowers. I have no clue what they are... maybe someone can enlighten me? Some variety of cultivated poppy perhaps?
How does my garden grow? A lot better now we've got some sunshine, thanks. It never ceases to amaze me the quality of produce grown on allotments.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a good crop and it looks like they will be needed as there are predictions of food shortages due to too much rain (or too little rain, or the wrong type of rain, or something)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a healthy salad for Peter Rabbit.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I have no garden.. So I can't help you. The flower is looking like an "anemone"(could not find the engish name)
ReplyDeleteThose little flowers are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe allotment gardens always impressed me when we visited the UK. I agree -- I think that's an anemone.
