ReplyDeleteI should have mentioned that it's a gorgeous photo -- perhaps it could be the book cover. The plot is coming to me -- a female large animal vet, recently arrived in the Dales, is trying to win the trust of the local farmers. She is called in to save the life of the prize bull of one hunky, recently widowed farmer who is about to lose his farm because of having borrowed heavily to pay his wife's medical bills -- no, that won't work -- UK has healthcare. Borrowed heavily to pay his late wife's gambling debts . . . if the bull can be saved, so can the farm. Animal husbandry and romance ensue. . .
