Christmas is coming...
Advance notice of a Christmas shopping night at Salts Mill. Might be worth going, as there are discounts available in most of the retail outlets. Do your Christmas shopping in delightful surroundings, cheered on with drinks and seasonal nibbles - and a free concert by Hammond's Saltaire Band in the 1853 gallery at 7.30 pm. For more details, please see the Saltaire Village website.
(Funny... I haven't seen fairies round Salts Mill chimney since the last time I was at the cooking sherry!)
For a photo of the real chimney, see here.

I just might treat the GLW to a night out.
ReplyDeleteOh I wish I was a bit nearer!
ReplyDeleteI'm in desperate need of some new art materials and I LOVE shopping at the mill for them.
Who could imagine that fairies around a chimney would make such a great Christmas tree?!
ReplyDeleteIt's approching now, I'm so excited!
I always thought faeries looked like Tinkerbell.
ReplyDeleteOh this sounds so festive! Perhaps they will serve us some libations that will bring on the fairy sightings! ~Lili
ReplyDeleteSound like a lovely venue for shopping and holiday cheer -- even without nipping at the cooking sherry!
ReplyDeleteNice ad sound like a better time than Black Friday at the malls here.
ReplyDeleteI want to do my shopping in your atmosphere! We've got crowds of people being rather rude as they try to claim the last few of whatever item they're after.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute poster.
