Stained glass primulas

Another shot from RHS Harlow Carr, this time of the amazing candelabra primulas along the streamside, a display that the gardens are quite famous for. It's been very warm and dry in England for fully two months, so these damp-loving plants were looking a little dessicated. I still loved the massed effect and the pops of vivid colour. It reminded me of a stained glass window.

  1. Wonderful colours, you can see where designers get their inspiration from.
